Garbage truck tips over at intersection

Garbage Truck overturns at Cardinal & Fannett in Beaumont Texas afternoon Monday 7-13-09.

This is video I captured while leaving work of the Mr. Garbage truck that overturned at the intersection of Cardinal Drive and Fannett.

The driver said he lost his brakes after exiting US 96 Westbound and turned rapidly right onto Fannett to avoid striking the vehicles that were stopped at the red light.

The rate of speed caused the truck to overturn. This video is of several minutes afterward as the wreckers are hooked onto the vehicle and attempting to put it back on it's wheels.
