Hurricane Ike

Well here we are 2 weeks after the Ike ordeal and the damage isn't getting any better with time. We have watched everything we own get loaded into a debris trailor and get hauled away. We have watched the black mold regrow time and time again. Rest assured blue tarps don't work as well as shingles. We own a small business and are doing our best to replenish our home with the things that are needed for basic survival. Appliances and a comfortable place to sleep being at the top of the list. We have worked hard and made head way but, where is FEMA? We try our best to live an honest tax paying life and what good is it getting us? Where is FEMA? I'm well aware that we are luckier than most and almost everything we lost can be replaced but, where is FEMA? We as a nation feed the world, finance the most weathiest, fly around space like we are on a trip to cleveland yet for some reason we find it difficult to help our own citizens recover from disaster? Whats up with that? As I sit here gagging and coughing wondering if it's the mold or that infectious water i waded in for a week, one question comes to mind. Where Is FEMA?
