for many southeast texans a hurricane like ike causes a great burden phisically but also finacially.almost everyone wants to know whats going on in their town, their neighborhood, but most of all whats happend or not happend to thier house.evacuation can be hard let me be the first to make that statement.ive been in the same hotel for almost two weeks now.officials are calling the phone hasnt stopped ringing...the one question that seems to go un-answered although commmonly asked is when can i go home ,and do i have power ?after being on this computer for hours i found a bit of information that some may find useful.follow the instructions given andyou can do the same:

1.go to kfdm.com
2.on the upper right hand corner of the screen find entergytx.com
3.go to numbers 123 type in your address and county along with our state and there u have it !

i got this off the entergy website:

Customers Affected: 1359
Outage Start Time: Sep 12, 7:12 PM
Estimated Restoration Time: Pending
Comments: Entergy suffered extensive damage from Hurricane Ike. Local crews & crews from other areas are working to restore power as quickly & safely as possible. 80% of the customers in Pt. Arthur Pt. Neches Nederland & Groves should be restored by Sept 20, with 100% of customers that can take power safely restored by Sept 23. It may take longer for those customers in the hardest hit areas of Sabine Pass &Country Club or with damages to their electrical facilities. Thank you for your patience.

Yes, I appreciate how fast our electric was back up, but as far as Time Warner, they took their time and told there customers more or less that they didn't care about them!!!!
