Location: 2810 MLK Dr. Orange TX _ just north of I-10 on MLK

Orange County is invited to join hands and hearts in honoring the brave men and women who have worn or are now wearing the proud uniform of the U.S. Military.

Keynote speaker - WW II Veteran, Bill Harrison, former Orange resident and author of Six Days On A Raft. Also featuring: the S.E. Texas Color Guard, Harmony Exporters of S.E. Texas Barbershop Chorus, Orange Community Band & Patriot Riders Motorcycle Group.

Family and/or friends of Orange County veterans are invited to add names of veterans, past and present, to the Memorial Plaza. Each veteran’s name, along with branch of service, can be inscribed in granite at a cost of $40. Also, individuals or businesses wishing to support the plaza project can purchase donor bricks inscribed with the donor’s name or business. Bricks are available in two sizes for $100 or $125 respectively.

Plaque and/or brick orders should be placed by April 30, 2008 to insure being in place for the May 25 ceremony. Order forms can be picked up at the Plaza or by calling Ron Emmert at 409-735-4556 or 409-882-1816 (cell).
