Forecast Discussion

 

 

Tonight, the low will be just offshore from Southeast Texas.  Rain, heavy at times and breezy northeasterly to northerly winds are expected.  Chance of rain in near one-hundred percent.  Lows will drop to near-fifty.

 

Saturday, looks cloudy, "drippy" and cold.  With the upper-level low over our area, light rain is expected through the early afternoon hours.  This will keep afternoon temperatures in the middle-fifties with a northerly wind.

Sunday looks much improved with sunny dry weather.  Morning lows will be in the middle-forties with afternoon highs near-seventy.  No rain is forecasted.

Monday, winds will quickly turn back off the Gulf of Mexico beginning our humidification process again.  Partly cloudy skies are expected.  With lows near-fifty, afternoon highs will warm into the lower-seventies.

Our progressive weather pattern, meaning several systems affecting an area within a short time, will bring another cold front through the area Tuesday.  Cloudy skies are expected with a slight twenty-to-thirty percent chance of showers.  Morning lows will be near-sixty with afternoon highs near-seventy.

Wednesday, sunny, mild weather is expected.  Northerly winds will bring a drier air mass into area.  Lows will be in the upper-forties with afternoon highs in the upper-sixties.  No rainfall is forecasted.

Thanksgiving looks cool and dry.  Morning lows will be in the middle-forties with afternoon highs in the middle-sixties.  No rainfall is forecasted.

Saturday:  80% A.M. rain, cloudy & cold...1/3" to as much as 2/3" rainfall forecasted.  Low near: 50  High near: 54  Winds: N 6-16 mph

Sunday:  Sunny, warm & dry...no rainfall forecasted.  Low near: 46  High near: 70  Winds: N 3-8 mph

Monday:  Partly cloudy, warm & dry...no rainfall forecasted.  Low near: 50  High near: 73  Winds: SE 5-10 mph

Tuesday:  Cloudy, 20% showers...1/4" to as much as 2/3" rainfall forecasted.  Low near: 59  High near: 70  Winds: Variable shifting N 4-10 mph

Wednesday:  Sunny, mild...no rainfall forecasted.  Low near: 48  High near: 69  Winds: N 5-12 mph

Thanksgiving:  Sunny, cool & dry...no rainfall forecasted.  Low near: 46  High near: 64  Winds: N 6-14 mph
