Chad Landry to be hired as next Bridge City baseball coach

12 sports has confirmed that former Hamshire-Fannett coach Chad Landry has agreed to become the next head baseball coach at Bridge City pending approval at next Monday's school board meeting.

Landry, a Nederland graduate, went on the play college baseball at Seminole Junior College before wrapping up his career at Texas Tech.

Landry had been the head coach at Hamshire-Fannett five years, leading the Longhorns to the playoffs three times.
