Yao undergoes tests, will be re-evaluated Sunday

Ashly Elam

HOUSTON (AP) - Houston center Yao Ming has undergone tests on
his sprained left ankle and will be re-evaluated before the
Rockets' playoff game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday.
Yao had 19 points and 14 rebounds in the Lakers' 108-94 victory
Friday night that gave Los Angeles a 2-1 lead in the series. Yao
limped off the floor late in the game and said afterward that he
had a sore left foot and ankle.
The 7-foot-6 Yao, Houston's leading scorer, had a CT scan on
Saturday that showed a sprained left ankle. The team said Yao will
receive treatment and will be re-examined on Sunday by team doctor
Tom Clanton.
