Jeff Nelson Named Ozen High School Head Football Coach

News KBMT

Jeff Nelson now owns the title of Head Football Coach at Ozen High School. Beaumont I.S.D. announced Nelson Thursday night at the Administration Building.

Nelson is currently a math teacher at West Brook where he is an assistant football coach.

Third time is a charm for Nelson as he has applied for the Ozen job three times.

The district chose Nelson out of eight applicants.

Nelson is a Beaumont native, played at BCP High School and has been an assistant coach for the West Brook Bruins the last four years under Craig Stump.

He also has been an assistant coach at Central HS for seven years and is a former All-SWC WR for the Texas A&M Aggies.
