The WO Stark Mustangs fell behind 28-9 in the first half...rallied to within 28-23 but fell short in their 3A Playoff game vs Gilmer.
Gilmer won 35-23 to advance.
In 4A...the Central Jaguars led Angleton 20-6 only to give up the lead in the second half. Jags were down 34-27 in the final two minutes when they scored on a 25 yard TD pass from Michael Richard to Keith O'Neal and then Charlie Thomas scored on a two point conversion to pull out the win 35-34.
O'Neal also had an 83 yard kickoff return for a TD.
Jags will face Friendswood in the 4A Regional final next Saturday 12/6 at Woodforest Stadium in the Woodlands at 6 PM.....
2A Playoffs - Newton vs Daingerfield Saturday 2 PM at Carthage
Kirbyville vs Rice Consolidated Friday at 7:30 PM at Humble.
