Red Raiders hire new assistant baseball coach

LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) - Texas Tech has hired an Arizona
Diamondback scout as an assistant baseball coach.
Ed Gustafson played for the San Francisco Giants and the
Minnesota Twins.
He was an assistant coach on the Lewis & Clark, Portland and
Washington college teams.
Gustafson also was an associate head coach and director of
operations for the Tacoma Timbers in Washington and a scout for the
Seattle Mariners.
