LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - Nebraska seniors Marlon Lucky and Joe Ganz
have been named to watch lists for top college football awards.
Lucky, an I-back, is on the Maxwell Award watch list, which goes
to the nation's top player. He averaged 84.9 yards on the ground
per game last year and rushed 1,038 yards. The North Hollywood,
Calif., native set the single-season school record with 75 passes
for 705 yards.
Ganz is on the list for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award,
given to the top senior quarterback.
After serving as a backup in the first eight games, Ganz took
over late in the Texas game.
He went on to start the final three games. He connected on 58.6
percent of his passes while throwing for 1,453 yards and 16
