DURHAM, N.C. (AP) - Oklahoma State pitchers Tyler Lyons and
Andrew Oliver today were named members of the 2008 USA National
Baseball Team.
Oklahoma State is one of three schools with two players on the

Two more players will be added later this week to the national
team roster, which is comprised of top non-draft-eligible college
players.
Lyons, who's from Lubbock, Texas, finished 12-2 with a 3.31 ERA
and 92 strikeouts. He led the Big 12 in innings pitched with 108
2/3 and tied for the league lead with four complete games.
Oliver, from Vermillion, Ohio, went 7-2 with a 2.20 ERA and 96
strikeouts in 98 1/3 innings this past season for OSU, which
finished 44-18.
Oral Roberts coach Rob Walton will guide the team, which will
play in tournaments in The Netherlands and the Czech Republic and
in a six-game series against Chinese Taipei.
