EUFAULA, Okla. (AP) - The University of Oklahoma has won the
first ever Big 12 Bass Fishing Championship.
The OU teams of Chip Porche and Mark Johnson; and Jordon Nichols
and Justin Hurd combined to catch 50.13 pounds of fish in the
two-day tournament at Lake Eufaula.
Texas Tech finished second with 35.47 pounds and Oklahoma State
was third with 34.98 pounds.
Seven of the 12 Big 12 schools sent teams to the tournament.
