Kieschnick hits grand slam to lead Texas Tech past Baylor

LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) - Roger Kieschnick (KEESH'-nick) hit a grand
slam to lead Texas Tech past Baylor 12-5 today.
Willie Rueda had three hits and scored three runs for the Red
Raiders, who played their season finale after failing to qualify
for the Big 12 tournament.
Kieschnick put the Red Raiders ahead 7-1 in the second inning
with his second grand slam of the season and the fourth of his
career.
Adam Hornung homered twice and had four RBIs for the Bears.
