AUSTIN (AP) - Texas' pitchers combined to throw a shutout today
as the Longhorns defeated Baylor 2-0 in Austin.
Kenn Kasparek struck out nine and gave up three hits in eight
innings to pick up his fourth win of the season. Cole Green got the
save in one inning of relief. He gave up one hit.
Texas got its only runs on a single by Brandon Belt and a double
by Russell Moldenhauer.
Craig Fritsch took the loss for Baylor.
