AUSTIN, Texas (AP) - Adam Hornung and Ben Booker both homered in the seventh inning to break open a scoreless game, and Baylor beat
Texas for the first time since 2005 with a 6-1 win today.
Baylor starter Shawn Tolleson (5-3) struck out seven in 7 1/3
strong innings to help Baylor (28-21, 10-13 Big 12) break an
11-game losing streak to the Longhorns.
Texas starter Austin Wood (3-3) threw six shutout innings before
unraveling in the seventh, when he served up a leadoff homer to
Hornung and another to Booker three batters later.
Texas (28-19, 11-12) left 12 runners stranded.
