Houston Students Help to Enforce Cell Phone Ban in School Zone

Bryan Rupp

Students and teachers at one southwest Houston high school want the city to help them enforce a law against cell phones in school zones.

They're taking the law into their own hands, trying to battle distracted driving in their school zone.

They're holding up signs with slogans like "no texting" and "slow down." The students yelled at suspected speeders and cell phone users coming through their campus.
