Flames Fry Texas Egg Farm

BOVINA, TEXAS (NBC) -- A huge fire damaged at least four buildings at an egg farm in West Texas. The Thursday, July 9, 2009 fire started around 5p.m. at the Cal-Maine Egg Farm near Bovina, Texas.

At least 10 fire departments worked the fire including a fire crew from across the state-line out of Clovis, New Mexico.

There were no reported injuries and all the buildings held chickens. It is not known how many chickens may have been lost in the fire.

The smoke could be seen all the way from Clovis which is about 20 miles from Bovina.
