Meteorologist Patrick Vaughn

Tropical Depression Ida is over the Honduras/Nicaraua Border this morning and will continue moving north.  The storm is expected to re-emerge over the Northwestern Caribbean late tonight.  After that it is expected to restrengthen into a tropical storm.  Monday morning, Ida will move into the South-Central Gulf of Mexico.  Westerly shear will then turn the storm toward the Eastern Gulf of Mexico Tuesday/Wednesday.
