Road Closures Create Inconvenience For Southern Jefferson County Commuters

Drivers through Hillebrandt Bayou can expect to see another bridge closure that may delay their travel times.

Jefferson County Commissioners have ordered the closure of another bridge spanning Hillebrandt Bayou forcing south Jefferson county residents to drive well out of their way.

Commissioners say the bridges need to be closed because they could be dangerous.

The bridge closed yesterday is on Humble Camp - Steinhagen road.

The bridge closed last month is on Hillebrandt Road.
