KUIL Will Be Managed by London Broadcasting Beginning in 2010

12 News parent company London Broadcasting will begin managing KUIL-TV in Beaumont on New Year's Day 2010. This will result in London owning or managing three station identities in Southeast Texas: 12 News KBMT, K-JAC Your NBC and KUIL-TV.

DALLAS, Texas - London Broadcasting Company, Inc. announced today that it has signed an agreement with Bluebonnet Communications, Inc. to manage KUIL-TV and related low-power television stations serving the Beaumont-Port Arthur, Texas television market. London Broadcasting will oversee KUIL-TV's operations and act as a resource for sales, promotion, programming, production, operations, finance, contract administration and human resources. The ten-year agreement is effective January 1, 2010.
London Broadcasting completed the acquisition of KBMT-TV on July 31, 2009 and is broadcasting both the ABC and NBC affiliates. As measured by A.C. Nielsen Company, KBMT-TV and KUIL-TV are located in the 141st television market in the US and serve approximately 450,000 people in 170,000 households.

With this agreement, London Broadcasting operates 2 NBC affiliates, 1 CBS affiliate, 1 ABC affiliate, 1 Azteca affiliate, and 3 Independent channels with stations in Waco-Killeen-Temple-Bryan-College Station (DMA #94) and Tyler-Longview (DMA #110) and Beaumont-Port Arthur (DMA 141). London Broadcasting now serves over 2 million Texans in 750,000 households, representing approximately 10% of the Texas population.

WHY?? KUIL has much less coverage than 12.2..even with the 43 digital signal added to 36....(not sure if that also will include LD44 in Jasper...but its operated as KVHP-LD)...

OK then... put NBC in full 1080 on KUIL (both channel 36 and channel 43, and put This TV on th sub of channel 12. Leave the independant programming from KUIL on the sub-channel. This would work out beautifully! Looking forward to it!

Wow, Ok then... Put NBC on KUIL at full 1080 (on both the K36ID and the up and coming digital channel 43, put THIS TV on the KBMT sub, and put the KUIL independant programming on the sub of KUIL. That would work!
