David Ingram
Bryan Rupp

Port Arthur police say no one was hurt Wednesday morning when the driver of a Ford F-150 drove the vehicle into a one-story wood frame house on San Jacinto Avenue. San Jacinto runs between Proctor and Lewis Drive.

Police say the driver reported the accelerator was stuck when the accident happened just before 8 a.m. An officer on the scene told 12 News the driver was wearing slippers, but it is not clear if that what caused the accident.

No one was at home at the time of the accident.

The house and the truck sustained heavy damage.
