Port Arthur Police Investigate Shooting

A Port Arthur man is recovering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen as police look for the man who shot him.

According to a news release issued by the Port Arthur Police Department the shooting happened just before Midnight Monday night in the 900 block of West 14th Street at the Prince Hall Apartments. When officers arrived they found they found the victim and he was taken by ambulance to Christus Hospital St. Mary. Police say he was in stable condition.

Police questioned witnesses but no arrests have been made.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call EasTex Crimestoppers at 409-724-TIPS.
