Jasper County Deputies Find Missing Child

The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a missing child, 4, that disappeared sometime Monday morning.

Deputies have set up a command center in an area just north of Kirbyville. Members of the Emergency Corps, area fire departments and the Texas Parks and Wildlife are assisting in the search.

The child is said to have autism and may have wondered alone into the woods. He was last seen around 9 a.m. wearing blue pajamas and a jacket.

12 News has a crew in Jasper County and will have more on this story later in the day.
