"Eat a Bug" Day at Art Museum Marks Spooky Holidays

Bryan Rupp

Hundreds showed up at the Art Museum of Southeast Texas on Halloween to eat bugs.

Children and their families celebrated Halloween and Day of the Dead by feasting on fried crickets, decorating sugar skulls, enjoying a variety of exciting art activities and entertainment.

The name of the day was "Eat a Bug" Family Arts Day.

The bugs were said to be yummy flavored with Texjoy.
