Tips Lead Police to Shooter

One man is recovering from a gunshot wound as his alleged attacker is behind bars at the Jefferson County Jail.

According to a news release from the Port Arthur Police Department the shooting happened around 6 p.m. at the Carver Terrace Apartments in the 1200 block of Carver Terrace. When officers arrived several witnesses gave a description of a suspect vehicle and the name of the man they said pulled the trigger. Officers quickly found the man and arrested him.

The victim was taken to Christus Hospital St. Mary. Police say his gunshot is considered non-life threatening.

The name of the shooter will not be released until he is arraigned.

Well since his wound wasnt life threatening he can get probation later once he posts bond or gets out for free in 3 days. Bet this to be so!
