Dramatic Video Shows Coast Guard Resuce

United States Coast Guard crews out of Galveston and Houston scrambled to make an early morning rescue.

The dramatic coast guard video can be seen by clicking on the video box directly or by clicking on "WATCH THE VIDEO" link.

A distress call came in early Tuesday, October 20 from the captain of "Lucky Lady."

The vessel had taken on water and the captain suffered a serious hand injury.

Crews from U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Houston and station Galveston responded by delivering pumps to assist. The Lucky Lady made it back to the Galveston yacht basin under it's own power.
