Orange Man Improves After Weekend Shooting

The condition of an Orange County man is said to be improving after he was shot Sunday afternoon by his brother.

According to Deputy Chad Hogan, Brian Nunez is in stable condition and will be moved out of the Intensive Care Unit at Christus Hospital Saint Elizabeth. Police say Nunez was shot in the chest Sunday afternoon by his brother

Ronald Nunez was arraigned Monday by Judge Parkhurst and the bond was set at $50,000. Ronald Nunez is currently in the custody of the Orange County Correctional Facility.

The shooting happened around 4p.m. Sunday at a home in the 3200 block of Claire Drive in Orangefield.

I have known this family for over 25 years and all of them, Bryan and Ronnie have good hearts. No one has the right to speak on either ones behalf especially if they were not there. Tammy really needs to check her facts. As far as I know she was not there, nor was she there for the incident earlier in the day. I'm not sure what doing good means but this man was attacking. He had no right to behave the way he was behaving and toward people that were not causing him any harm. I hope he gets better, I do not wish the worst for anyone, maybe he will take a look at his own behavior. Ronnie is also a good and kind man. I've known him a long time. Its just a very sad situation.

Neighbor should really get the facts before posting. That's really not what happened. I'm sorry this man is injured, but it appears he's not a very nice guy at times. The best that I understand is that Bryan is in really bad shape. I know that the bullet hit his spine, liver, kidney, small intestine, and pancreas. He has had at least one sugery this afternoon. I know that they are worried about infection setting in. I was told that Ronnie shot him in the back with a 9mm pistel. I hope he pulls throuhg this one.
