Death of 12-Year-Old Buna Boy Ruled Suicide

News KBMT

The 12-year-old Buna boy found with a fatal gunshot wound in April 2009 apparently committed suicide. It's the official ruling of the Jefferson county medical examiners office, and Jasper county authorities.

Investigators say the physical evidence, and statements of witnesses on that day led to the conclusion about Skylar Malson's death.

The boy was originally a Temple native, but had lived in the Buna subdivision of Cougar Country for the last 3 years.

Maybe he is in a better place. I don't feel sorry for the family if you knew the situation that boy was in.

i don't know that any other station aired this story as well, but it's really none of our business. now if his family asked that you air the story then im stepping over the line.. but i think matters like this should be handled differently. prayers go out to his family, i can't imagine a reason in the world for a 12 year old to do something like this..
