Second Beaumont Cop Who Had Sex w/ Prostitutes is Reinstated

A second Beaumont police officer who had sex with prostitutes during an undercover sting will be back on the force beginning Monday.

The sting operation went down at the VIP Lounge and the Sun Spa, both of which have since closed.

The city offered to settle the case on Lieutenant David Kiker if he would accept the same discipline that officer Keith Briener accepted. Officer Breiner was reinstated in May, and Kiker will be reinstated as a Lieutenant with a job assignment to be determined.

He is also accepting a 90-day suspension without pay.
