Beaumont Man Found Underneath Lawnmower

David Ingram

Beaumont emergency officials could not say the condition of a man found underneath a lawnmower around 12:30 p.m. Friday.

Beaumont Police, Fire and Emergency Medical Services crews were called to the corner of Cleveland and Monroe Streets in the city’s north end after a passerby found the man. The victim was taken by ambulance to the hospital.

Officer Randy Stevens says police officers were only on the scene to assist EMS crews and that at this time there is no reason to believe anything criminal happened.

A fire department dispatcher said the man’s injuries were not specified.
