KBMT Thanks All Southeast Texans That Gave to the Community Baby Shower

Rebecca Prince
Bryan Rupp

KBMT hosted its 17th Annual Community Baby Shower on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at three different locations across Southeast Texas.

Hundreds of SETexans brought new and gently used baby items in addition to cash donations to KBMT 12 News drop off locations throughout the day.

All donations will benefit area University of Texas Medical Branches and will be given to young mothers in need. KBMT partnered with the March of Dimes, Beaumont Pediatric, and UTMB for the past 16 years in an effort to aid families across Southeast Texas.

Once again thanks to all who gave!

Will they accept Trojans to prevent over breeding in first place? Sure, accidents happen, but 6 times?

It is a shame that Orange did not receive any coverage on your news broadcast or gallery- they were out in the heat like everyone else and Gary did a great job considering he came in from his vacation- UTMB has a clinic in Orange as well-I feel like there should have been equal coverage but many times Orange was cut from their time or the time was shortened because you only showed Bmt-completely unfair journalism!!!!!
