Weekend Charity Benefit Scheduled for Accident Victim

Community members are planning a benefit for a Bevil Oaks woman who was seriously injured in a car accident.

Tara Conley, 21, of Bevil Oaks was involved in a car accident on June 2 2009. A charity benefit is planned for Sunday, June 28th from 4-7 p.m. at the Munro Community Center, 1520 Broadway Street off, of MLK in Beaumont, Texas.

The benefit will feature an array of silent auction items including: pottery from local artists, gardening supply basket from M&D valued over $160.00, 2 brand new Mongoose bicycles, jewelry from Cantu’s Jewelers, a 22ft flag pole and installation provided by U.S. Flag & Flag Pole, gift certificates to Papagallo’s, a Vera Bradley basket and much more.

Wax n More is providing a bouncy house and other inflatable’s to entertain the entire family. There will also be barbeque chop beef sandwiches, links and boudain provided by Zummo’s, snow cones, soft drinks, and baked goods for sale.
