Investigation Into 12-Year-Old Buna Boys Death Continues

The Jasper County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate the shooting death of a 12-year-old boy.

Jasper Co. Lt Scott Duncan says the 12-year-old Buna boy was at home with parents in the house when shooting happened. Preliminary investigations lead officers to believe it was a suicide but autopsy results are pending. The investigation is ongoing.
The young man was pronounced dead at the scene.

KBMT 12 News ABC/NBC will continue to follow this story as it develops.
