A Southeast Texas Seaman was welcomed home on Sunday, March 29, 2009. Damage control fireman Clayton "Hoyt" Ivey of Bridge City was welcomed home by family, friends, and patriot guard riders.

Ivey enlisted in the Navy in 2007.

He was later deployed to the Persian Gulf where he assisted in apprehending pirates off the shores of Somalia.

Now he's happy to be back home in Southeast Texas.

Everyone was invited to the homecoming celebration and the parrot riders say they are proud of Hoyt's service to his country.
