Railroad Crossings Are Worrying Port Arthur Residents

Port Arthur citizens want something done and done fast because many railroad crossings in the city are in bad shape and pose a serious danger to motorists.

The city says it is willing to work with rail road companies, but have not made any progress as of yet.

Councilman John Beard says citizens need to know the effort is still ongoing.

The city says public safety is a top priority and that the city will work diligently to make sure railroad crossing are repaired.
