Southeast Texas Airwaves Are Full of KGHY

Bryan Rupp

There is a new radio station in Beaumont, KGHY. The station plays gospel music and covers all of Southeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana. It's on the air 24-hours a day.

The last station to play southern gospel music in this area was KOLE which dropped the format in 2001.

The owners say they want to spiritually uplift Southeast Texans.
