Boil Water Notice Lifted For Bevil Oaks.

Bryan Rupp

The boil water notice has been lifted for residents in Bevil Oaks.

The administrator for the Bevil Oaks Utility District tells us the notice was lifted around 1:30pm Sunday, January 11, 2009.

Story version Wednesday, January 7, 2009:

A water outage is on the way to home owners in the Bevil Oaks area of Jefferson County.

The Bevil Oaks Municipal Utility District tells KBMT 12 News it will shut off water services Friday, January 9, 2009 from 9am until 3pm.

The outage is needed so crews can tie new water lines to the system.

Operations Manager Matthew Burt says once water is restored, customers will need to boil drinking water until further notice.
