Bridge City Lifts the Nearly Four Month Long Hurricane Ike Curfew

Bridge City officials said the curfew which has been in place since Hurricane Ike struck back in September 2008 has actually become a hindrance.

Now 24-hour businesses and homeowners trying to rebuild can do so without restrictions or the fear of getting a ticket for violating the curfew.

In addition, the city council meeting was held at it's old location after Ike nearly wiped it out four months ago.
