One Beaumont Charity is $100,000 Richer

Bryan Rupp

With the more people losing their jobs comes a need for more help from Southeast Texas Charities.

The Southeast Texas Food Bank is seeing no shortage of those needing help with putting a meal on the table. And with the Thanksgiving holiday less than a week away the need is even more critical.

That's why a generous donation given to the STFB on Saturday, November 22 was very much appreciated.

State Farm Insurance donated $100,000 to the Southeast Texas Food Bank. The money will be used to help Hurricane Ike victims and with the rise in unemployment these funds will also be used for families facing financial difficulties as well.
