PPA Bus Rolls Through Beaumont

Southeast Texans most in need of cheap or free medical treatment are the target of the "Help is Here Express" which came to Beaumont Thursday, November 20.

The national bus tour made a stop at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital to help the uninsured and financially struggling patients affected by Hurricane Ike.

The bus is a rolling library of information on what services are available to those in need.

The Partnership for Prescription Assistance, or "PPA" sponsors the tour.

The tour is well known for its corporate spokesperson talk show host Montel Williams.
