Services Set for Weekend Nederland Murder Victim

Funeral services have been set for the victim of a weekend shooting in Nederland.

Services for 49 year old Susan Sattler have been set for Thursday at 10 a.m. at Church on the Rock on Highway 347.

Entombment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.

A fund has been established to help with burial costs at the Dupont Credit Union.

Contributions should include account number 700 6786

A gathering of family and friends will be 5:00-8:00 pm, Wednesday at Broussard's in Nederland.

Sattler was a native of Jasper, but lived most of her life in the Mid-County area.

She was a long time beauty advisor for Lancome cosmetics at Dillard's in Port Arthur.


Survivors include her daughters, Jessica ReneƩ and Hannah Nicole Guidry; sons, Zachary Stephen and James Hunter Ray Guidry, all of Nederland; mother, Janice May and husband Curtis of Lumberton; sister, Judy Smith Harrison of Nederland; brother, Mark James Smith and wife Kimberly of Aledo, TX.; uncles, Jimmy Westbrook and wife Kay and David Westbrook and their families; nieces Jenifer Franks and husband Jason, Emily Smith; nephews Jacob Harrison, Logan, Gavin and Brandon Smith plus numerous family and a multitude of friends.
