Rotarians & Scouts get Patriotic Start to 4th of July Holiday

News KBMT

Members of the Beaumont Rotary Club spent time early Friday making sure homeowners had a patriotic start to their 4th of July. Rotarians along with the Boy Scouts of America placed flags in front of 470 homes.

Pat Anderson with the Rotary Club says this is a tradition with the organization. Homeowners pay a fee to have the banners placed in their yards. The money supports the local Boy Scouts.

Club members began placing the flags at 5 a.m. Scouts will take the flags down at sunset.
