A man witnesses say is behind a triple shooting Tuesday is in police custody today. Terrance Henry, also known as "Bubba, "was arrested around nine Tuesday evening. Family members told police Henry would turn himself in, but he failed to show up at the police department. He was later located in the 11-hundred block of Brockman.

Officers around 4pm Tuesday were called in response to a shooting in the 2200 block of Hazel. When they arrived they found three people had been shot. Bullets fired from a semi-automatic pistol hit the victims, a man and two women. They were all taken to a local hospital for treatment. All three are said to have non-life threatening injuries.

Police say they responded to the same address earlier in the afternoon on a disturbance call. The suspect vehicle, a grey Elantra occupied by an adult black male and several females were involved in the disturbance with the tenants, but they were gone when the Police arrived.

By 4pm the suspect vehicle returned. The people inside the car again became involved in a verbal disturbance with the tenants. The disturbance turned physical. Tenants began beating the suspect vehicle with a bat and a hammer causing damage. The driver pulled out of the parking lot and onto the roadway. The driver fired several shots at the people in the parking lot, striking the three victims.

Officer Officer Pam Elliott says the gun used in the shooting has not yet been recovered.

Henry is facing three counts of assault with a deadly weapon. Bond is set at $25-thousand for each count for a total of $75-thousand.

Anyone with information about this Shooting is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 833-8477. You will not be asked your name and you could be eligible for a cash reward.
