Some areas of Southeast Texas received up to six inches of rainfall over the weekend and more rain is in the forecast today.
A "cold" front will sag southward through the area today and with deep moisture and instability, we expect about a sixty percent coverage of showers and thunderstorms for the Triangle.
Drier weather is expected Tuesday and Thursday.
Increasing moisture and shower/thunderstorm activity expected for July 4th, but the showers and thunderstorms should be over by fireworks time.
The Tropics are quiet.
