Religious Message Removed From Beaumont City Buses

Brian Burns

America is at war overseas but that is not to say our nation may not also face a cultural war here at home.

And if so, one battle in that war is being waged right now.

It's a secular vs. religious debate commonly tossed around law schools.

The separation of church and state.

As Fahnia Thomas explains, one resident feels the message on city buses could be crossing the line.

There is no video story attached. This is only a commercial and I want to at least read the related story.

I can not believe this happened. How can 1 persons complaint out weigh all those that want the sign to stay? What about my opinion...I want it to stay. With all that is going on in the world & our country, we need all the blessings we can get. It is a privilege to live in this country & if you don't like get...GET OUT! I have just as much of a right to see "God Bless America" on the buses as you have not to see them.
