Rotarians Welcome Eastman Chemical Officials to Beaumont

A hearty welcome to a company that is going to pump a lot of money into the Beaumont area.

The Rotary Club today welcomes Eastman Chemical in an event at the MCM Elegante.

Eastman has announced it's going to "locate" a new gasification facility in Beaumont.

The 1 and a half billion dollar plant will add at least 2 hundred 50 permanent jobs, more than a thousand temporary construction jobs, and it will bring 1 hundred 24 million dollars worth of tax revenue to the area.
