Brian Burns

A tip from the community sends police officers scrambling and arriving on the scene of a burglary just in time to make a dramatic arrest this week.

Of course, Beaumont Police department depend on tips from the community to help them handle suspicious events in our neighborhoods and that's exactly what happened on the 9 hundred block of Threadneedle Thursday morning.

When officers arrived they say they saw a man taking items from the home.

When he saw the police, he ran back inside and later surrendered without incident.
