Mauriceville Searcher's Body Recovered from Sabine

Using sonar and cadaver dogs, several agencies recovering the body of 27 year old Craig Phelps of Mauriceville just after two Friday afternoon.

Phelps had voluntarily taken his boat and three year old son to the Sabine River to help in the search for a missing boater from Orange.

18 year old Roger Frank apparently drowned earlier this week after falling out of a canoe.

Phelps body was found directly opposite the sabine river boat ramp under Interstate ten.

His boat and son were discovered in the same spot.

The boy was uninjured.

Investigators say it appears phelps was struck by the propeller of his own boat.

Searchers are still looking for the body of 18 year old Roger Frank who apparently drowned tuesday near the Signal shipyards in Orange.
