We are organizing our skeleton staff and will bring you everything we have as soon as possible.
We will have the entire website updated once all our staff is back.

I heard that Judge Walker is concerned that there is not enough electricity, water, sewage or city services to get people back as of today, Tuesday, Sept. 16 and recommends everyone to stay out of Beaumont. Too many people stayed. Only a very few places in Houston and Beaumont have gas and the lines are a mile long or more. The city water tastes salty. Most houses and businesses still have no electricity.Police are patrollng May be better to stay away until city services are ready for us.

I'm in Vicksburg, Ms right now with my girlfriend and parents. Is there any information on Nederland? Parkway Village to be specific. And what's the deal with FEMA?? We're having to pay $105 a night for a double room and eat out everyday, we're running out of money fast (wasn't much to begin with). The news has hardly reported anything on Jefferson County. All I hear about is Houston and Galveston. I feel for them, but more areas with human beings were affected besides those two areas.

FEMA is not giving $2000.00 like they did after Rita. That program is no longer available.

We need to know when is FEMA going to step up and take care of all the displaced people? Hotels are not cheap and neither is eating out everyday and trying to keep kids entertained. please give us some information on who is going to help us. red cross and salvation army said they are not doing anything and could yall tell us why? they will help people in a foreign country but not the people of Texas?
